I think that with decent planning and some help from boots of blinding speed and/or skooma you can easily deal with whatever running you gotta do except for fast travel. You do have to use all possible means of fast travel though including mage's guild so I guess it depends on your playthrough. Also transportation magic (mark/recall, interventions) are a must pretty much. The game is kinda built around the means of travel.
Gonna make my own doughnuts with chocolate fillings. Also I killed the turtles last night.
Im not an elitist with his nose flicked to the sky but I feel like Elders Scrolls lost something unique when they went from morrowind to oblivion. Oblivion was fun but felt like every other medieval fantasy.
Morrowind is a game about learning how to move around quickly.
On my mage in tamriel rebuilt I've got my mark setup at my base in the middle of nowhere, whenever I need to get back to civilization I recall home, offload my gear, almsivi intervention to the local temple-city that has a small mages guild outpost and from there I can travel to any major town in the game through the series of guild guides.

So I've just had a tussle with my windows, since as is per usual it has turned on the watermark, since I have a pirated version, so I've tried to do as always and run the program that kills the watermark and refreshes the thing.
It turns out that not only will windows defender turn itself back on whenever he wants (I have no idea why and how but I know about it for a while already), I cannot recover the files that it has deleted AND I seem to also have lost privileges to run certain programs that have been downloaded off of the internet (in particular this one is obviously set as a virus by windows because it kills activation code). Not only can I not run those I cannot turn it off that I cannot run those because it is "managed by my administrator", which of course I am the fucking administrator of my own machine...
I know that it's supposed to be babyproof but this is not babyproof, this is literally impossible to crack level of bullshit. I bet I wouldn't have to go through all these hoops if I just wanted to run a regular virus that's less common.

I have just played the first 20 MINUTES of THIEF:GOLD. Pressing A and D doesn't turn your field of vision, it turns your entire body. you just hold up and use mouse for changing direction. I completed the tutorial and the first 10 minutes of the actual game. Didn't realise you were allowed to be seen by guards in the street if you weren't in a forbidden area so spent a while trying to work out how to get past these two guys without being seen. I made many hilarious quips but sadly under 8ball's orders I had no neko audience to enjoy......It is a very dark game. Also there is no run button so guard chases are both of you walking in the same direction while the guard huffs and grunts and talks with a strained voice like a geriatric.

Pullups are actually pretty good because the lighter you are the easier they are and you don't lose that much by losing weight. Like significantly easier not just easier like any other bodyweight movement.
