it's another reason im not a big fan of the SA/SO speedruns, because they rely on imported gear. my SA/SO run earlier today uses stuff you'd start with by default.
theres a 1:14 SA/SO default loadout run and someone who made a speedrun in 54 minutes of the entire campaign, SA/SO default loadout too

That was really interesting, he used completely different strats to me. He got to Caruso's bedroom to break his model boat, inside of which is hidden a copy of the virus coded to Francesa's DNA, so he throws it at her, and it obviously only kills her.
Then he breaks the observatory open, which I didn't even realize that panel did, which makes Caruso walk towards it to investigate and into the path of the solar system, which he drops below for an easy accident kill,
He also routes to find a stalagtite that is positioned perfectly to destroy the virus, meaning he doesn't shoot the virus itself.
It's really cool to see, I've learned stuff today. Before I was planning a SA/SO sniper route because you can snipe Caruso when he goes to the observatory, but the only way I knew to activate it was inside, if I can just shoot it from the outside, that makes things very simple. An SA/SO sniper route would be very very simple with that trick in mind.

Both targets are planning on killing each other. Francesca is an amoral bitch who works for ETHER, and she thinks Caruso is a liability because well, he's fucking crazy and he's paid a private detective to get DNA samples of all the people who bullied him at school. He plans on using his virus to kill those who bullied him. ETHER, the company paying for all this, upon hearing this agrees that Caruso is too dangerous to keep around.
Caruso is a paranoid nut job who had an extremely overprotective and overbearing mother, whom he killed a few years ago, he has a weird complex around women because of it, and he's keeping a backup killvirus on Francesca. Caruso, for all his faults, isn't an evil guy, he doesn't want the virus to exist, certainly not for the corporate paymasters that are funding the project. He's just severely mentally ill (albeit a genius).
You have to kill them both AND destroy the virus to prevent it ever being finished, both of them are smart and knowledgeable enough about the project to recreate it.

It is actually never mentioned nor hinted at in the game. It's just something people discovered after a lot of exploration. Nothing guides you towards breaking a model boat in his bedroom.

Genuinely though, without exaggeration, I think people that are thin, or pretty thin, like reasonably so do feel happier about themselves and their body image.
