Assamite players only pick that clan to be fighters, their unique discipline is weirdly broken and great at fighting. They also exclusively play them to be muslim stereotypes, as their clan is known to be prominent in the middle east.
It's weird, some clans are attached to certain regions, but most are just everywhere.

The ventrue character in my session today just stood back as the rest of the party struggled to fight THREE bandits.
They kept slipping over in the mud and getting dirty and damaged. The ventrue stood back, proud, and spammed his overpowered discipline to force the bandits to fight each other.
