I lost a wallet about 2 months ago. When I called to cancel the cards they were already cancelled. A few days ago I had a voicemail from Specsavers, saying they thought they'd found something for me. I had not visited them for many many months. I called them back, and they asked me if I'd lost a wallet in the last few days. They said they'd been contacted by a tesco store to say they'd found it. I visited the same day and it was that wallet from late Jan. Apparently there was a specsavers appointment card hidden somewhere deep in it that they'd called with my details, however they told me they certainly wouldn't have cancelled any cards.
Sorry that wasn't a very interesting story
my theory is that the guy who found the wallet called up and cancelled the cards for you, then handed it into lost and found at tesco incase you came back looking for it. so no evil tesco workers could use your cards.
Was it an act of a good samiritan to cancel your card or not
They probably pickpocketed neko then canceled the cards using the details on the card as an evil prank. This happens more and more every day

Tangentially related but you reminded me of the time when AC: Brotherhood released and I've put in 42 hours into it over the course of like 2.5 days.
I never played brotherhood but I did sink a lot of hours into AC1 and 2 when I was a kid, really fun games
also watched a lot of youtube vids of that one AC game with multiplayer where you have to blend in to the crowd and assassinate a specific player without them noticing you

Brotherhood is basically 2 but later. Well, both revelations and brotherhood are pretty much dlcs for 2 and they keep up that nice quality 2 had, so if you're on the fence when it comes to playing it I would recommend it.
I've replayed 1-4 (excluding 3rd one) recently and I've still had plenty of fun, maybe it wasn't the same as the first time but I think they still hold up.
