Reginald "Reggie" Tulips was born the youngest child of the Tulips gnomes, a family in Rhosquay. His parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, older siblings and he when he grew older all worked in the family owned tavern "The Foamy Tankard".

The bar life wasn't for Reggie, he had few friends and wasn't as jovial or jolly as his gnome kin, eventually being regulated to working in the kitchens as a potwash. He yearned for more, for high adventure on the seas, to be a world traveller, to see more of the world than his hometown.

As he got older, his intelligence became harder to ignore. His natural intellect far surpassed that of his family's and he spent the majority of his meagre wages on books. A chance encounter with a travelling scholar gained him his first real friend and instilled in him a love for knowledge and mysteries.

He begged leave to take a ship to Porthaven, to study at a proper library. After some convincing his parents let him go, and so he and his new friend Bonnie Posta sailed to Porthaven.

Unfortunately, adventure found him after all. Pirates struck their ship a day out from Porthaven. Most of the crew were killed, Reggie and Bonnie were separated, and Reggie was adrift at sea on a small plank of wood. To eventually wash up nearby on the coast, with no coins to his name.

In Porthaven, Reggie was able to find himself employment as a servant, later apprentice to a wizard after his aptitude for magic was noticed.

After completing his Apprenticeship, he set out from the City, feeling more cooped up than he wanted stuck in a library of old books. Bonnie was never found washed up ashore like some other sailors, Reggie suspects his friend mightve been taken captive and keeps his ear out for word of pirates in his travels.

Eventually, through his wandering, he ends up in the far north, joining a group of travellers headed towards steamdrift

Unironically one of my longest backstories. My longest played character had a backstory of "he worked as a foreman in a mine until he became a space pilot"

Session was kinda fun. 6/10. I definitely felt like I had to take charge and speak a lot. The group are fairly inexperienced, happy to talk to make jokes but I was the mostly serious backbone.

I interacted with crushes character a lot, and saved her with a spell. She wants me fr.

After the session the 6'0 blonde haired blue eyed guy spoke about the plant club.

I wish I was able to run my science fiction game, our current gm is a little shy and doesn't project his voice well. I'd kill as a GM but I refuse to run d&d
