Disco Elysium is basically a washed up cop trying to solve a crime, which is the vehicle to ask big questions about where humanity has been and where it is going, it lets you explore political views but mostly past their time, considering that real ideologies have essentially died with the 20th century

3 and a half years ago. It is about 4 months into university, we are at the student bar with my regular group of 4 people, one of the girls we live with has joined us, we are playing pool. Somebody is about the pot the black accidentally, I grab it before it goes in the pocket (we do this every time because it's a pay to play game and potting the black ends the game prematurely, so we grab it before it falls in and keep playing until the end), the girl who has jolned us calls me weird for doing that.
Why do I obsess over this moment? She is literally a blonde midwit, she's a slag, she got the clap not once not twice but THRICE in the year I lived with her. She is a nobody to me. She isn't important to me or to the world at large. Ice age heat waves can't complain, if the world at large why should I remain?
